Volunteers needed

The City of Nolanville hopes to build its pool of dedicated volunteers to help us with our community events, beautification projects, and outreach missions.

With just five months left in the year, we still have so much we want to accomplish, and a critical component of many of the projects we complete is the one-on-one support provided by volunteers. These volunteers can be Jr-high & High school students, school service clubs, school staff, and representatives from the community.

Nolanville is hosting the following events (more events to pop up in between!)

  • 9/24- Fox Trot 5k & Train Whistle Jamboree

  • 10/28 - Halloween Festival & Night Market

  • 11/05 - Make A Difference Day

  • 12/2- Grinch Festival

And we would welcome volunteers from your organization to work with City staff and the Community.

Volunteer activities may include:

  • Greet and sign-in vendors at events

  • Help vendors with their setup process

  • Distribute event materials like gifts, clean-up kits, water

  • Facepainting and family game booth attendants

  • Painting, litter clean up, community garden planting.

Our community will benefit from your help and support as we take a big step toward accomplishing our end-of-year goals and missions. Please contact Jennifer Shidler, Community Outreach Coordinator, at Jshidler@nolanvilletx.gov or by phone at 254-698-6335 extension 5 if you are interested in serving the community or want more information.
