2022 Nolanville Fox Trot Race Recap!


NOLANVILLE, TX —289 participants competed in Nolanville’s 8th annual Fox Trot 5K and 1K race, held Saturday, September 24th, at Nolanville City Hall.


With numbers returning to pre-pandemic status, the streets of Nolanville were lined with runners of all ages before returning to the finish line for music, a victory taco from Sticky Fingas BBQ, and an awards ceremony.


Each pre-registered runner received a commemorative medal, a race bag filled with goodies from community sponsors and an official race day t-shirt.


Winning the trophy in the top overall time and fastest in the men’s division was Alex Tosi of Killeen, TX, at 17 minutes and 49 seconds and first in the women’s division and 5th overall, Thea Barragan of Killeen at 20 minutes and 24 seconds.


“Thank you to everybody that came out to this year’s race. The weather was in our favor, and the community really seemed to enjoy themselves this year,” said Misha Johnson, Nolanville Fox Trot Coordinator. “We look forward to carrying the momentum from this event into next year, so be on the lookout for information for next year’s race on September 23rd, 2023.”


The Fox Trot 5K and 1K is one of 20 races held throughout the year in the Cen-Tex Race Series circuit. There are still six races left this year, with the next one being the Mary Kay 5K on October 5th. Register for this event or others here.
