2022 National Day of Service Wrap Up

Updated: Sep 22, 2022

NOLANVILLE, TX. – More than 53 volunteers from the City of Nolanville and the surrounding communities rolled up their sleeves for a day of service to honor those who lost their lives during the tragic events of September 11th. Volunteers spent the morning picking up litter down Highway 439, spreading wildflower seeds along the I14 access road's grassy area, and painting over ten picnic tables for various parks around the community. While the acts of kindness shown during this year's event are no comparison to the sacrifices made by those who lost their lives that day, the unity and willingness to volunteer demonstrated by those who came out are a great reminder of how strong our community is. Want to be a volunteer for future events? You can sign up to be the first to know HERE.
