What is C3?
Nolanville C3 is an earth-conscious club created to bring together people who love to garden and compost…or want to learn! Composting is important because it retains a large volume of water, thus helping to prevent/reduce erosion, reduce runoff, and establish vegetation. Compost improves downstream water quality by retaining pollutants such as heavy metals, nitrogen, phosphorus, oil and grease, fuels, herbicides, and pesticides!
As a member of Nolanville C3, you will be able to take as much completed compost as you like to improve your garden soil at home.
City hall will provide compostable paper bags for you to use to gather the completed compost to take home. When you are finished, the used bags can then be shredded and added back into the composting process!
